Just not working and NEVER put it in garage

I recently purchased an LG Styler for my new home excited to use it after moving in. Unfortunately it keeps tripping the GFCI outlet in my garage after just a few minutes of operation. I tried plugging it into multiple GFCI outlets on different walls but the same issue occurred each time. My home is brand new and after having the builder and electrician check the outlets they confirmed that all the GFCIs in my garage are functioning properly. The electrician suggested that the LG Styler itself may be defective and advised against continued use due to safety concerns. After some research I discovered that this seems to be a common issue with LG products. It appears that their designs may not fully account for building codes in places like California where GFCI outlets are required in garages and bathrooms. Unfortunately this design oversight makes the product unusable for me and I cant recommend it unless this issue is addressed.

Dont buy this product.

I purchased the LG S5WBC Steam Closet in May 2023 initially excited about its features and the convenience it promised. For the first year it worked as expected helping to refresh and deodorize my clothes. However around June 2024 just after the one-year warranty expired the unit began showing the LE2 error code and it has consistently failed to remove moisture from my clothes and the interior ever since. The only way to even get the unit to start a cycle is to unplug it and plug it back in but this doesnt solve the underlying problem. My clothes come out damp and the inside of the steam closet remains wet which is far from the quality I expected from an LG product. What makes this even more frustrating is the response from LGs customer service. Because the issue started just after the warranty period they informed me that I would need to pay $400 just to have someone come out and diagnose the problem with additional costs for any parts needed. This feels like a serious letdown both in terms of product durability and customer support. While the LG S5WBC has great potential the fact that it started failing so soon after purchase coupled with the lack of meaningful support from LG leads me to give this product only two stars. I hope others have better luck but my experience has left me quite disappointed.

Awful awful delivery experience

When I ordered this product and insurance to cover it for 2 years I didnt know it would indefinitely hold up my order of my washer and dryer as well. Two months later no styler. No washer and dryer. Insurance period began ticking away two months ago when I ordered all the products. No word at all from LG on when I can expect delivery and they insist on communicating all this over phone rather than email. Never order these products if you want decent customer service.

Love this steamer for I need something quickly refreshed or steamed. Its quiet but provides a light white noise. If youre someone who frequents with the dry cleaners this is a product that would definitely cut down your cost

Bad experience of service.

It is bad experience to buy a the LG style steam closet S5WBC. I ordered at Nov 2 2023. I was informed that it will be delivered by Nov 16 by email. I waited a whole day it did not come. And no one called or explained to me. At 17th I called LG customer service They said a computer issue: they could not found my order at delivery company... said will resolve the problem in 48hrs. No one follow up. After days I checked again it said the same thing asked me to wait 48 hrs... So I called again saidit will be delivered and after you get your products please call us back to get compensation .... well I have to called again today is 27th many 48hrs past. I was told to wait another 48-72hrs now. so I have to cancel my order thank you.
