I bought a brand new mattress. In nearly 1 year you can see a visible sag and it is hurting my back / body. I paid nearly 3000.00 from dealer. When the tech came out to measure he wouldn't even check the mattress because some tag was missing. They delivered the mattress and set it up so I'm not sure how I have control over wether a tag is on or removed from the mattress. I asked the tech no measure anyway . He said he "can't touch it" "but it looks bad". I feel like this is an intentional action to get out of warranting the mattress. I don't have money to buy a new one…my old one was 15 years old and I was looking towards years of comfortable sleep instead I wake up in pain daily. It is thier mattress they should stand behind thier product…but they will keep selling and profiting as consumer losses out because of a delivery / manufacture issue which was out of my hands .

I had fusion surgery on my back over a year ago. I did very well except for changing positions trying to get no pain in bed. We bought this mattress and I felt like it was a miracle. No pain. Completely gone. The best money we have spent in a long time. Worth every penny 😊

We were clueless that Stearns and Foster's quality had undergone change since merging or being bought by Temperpedic. We and the generation prior to us have had Stearns and Foster mattresses for YEAR and YEARS. Well worth the investment.
HOWEVER, we bought a Studio Tight Top Medium 3 1/2 yrs ago and it has been HORRIBLE! An expert in our upscale furniture store, 3rd generation owned, recently told us Stearns and Foster has not made the durable 20 yr Latex mattress that last 25-30 yrs since becoming part of the the Temperpedic family in 2017.
NO WONDER we are so dissatisfied!!! They still have the high price points but don't be fooled. FOREWARNED IS FOREARMED. DON'T BUY THE STEARNS AND FOSTER PRODUCTS ANY MORE. Ours is leaving our house tomorrow for a local used furniture store. FINALLY!!! Should have done it 4-5 months after purchase. I've sent photos to exercise my warranty; but, no response after 4 tries across 2 months.

Original purchase of set was Feb,2019. the second set of mattresses purchased August,2025, used for 5 months total as we winter south. the mattresses have been rotated end to end and side to side as this is a split king. the mattresses are sagging in the center, store notified, and told to wait untill it is worse. I will have to purchase another bed and move this to another room. The replacement two twin mattresses were over 7 thousand dollars and used for 5 months. they are very heavy and difficult to make.

Even though i had a warranty exchange i went from mediun to firm paid extra for a firm .so im having issues with firm that it is to firm for my issues. I called customer service they told me that there is no trial period with a new mattress unless I purchased a new one. They told me to walk on the mattress to help break it in. Other wise im stuck with it can't not change it for a medium.

We bought this mattress 3 1/2 years ago. It is sinking where my husband and I both sleep. They tell you when you buy it that if it starts sinking that they will replace it because it has a 10 year warranty. They came out today and measured and said it was sinking 3/4 of an inch. They said it has to be sunk in 1 1/2 inches before they will replace. We bought a firm mattress due to back issues. I just had two back surgeries a week a part and if it sinks anymore I will not be able to sleep on it. Wish they would have told use a 1 1/2 inches before we bought because that's a lot for a mattress to sink especially a firm one.

I bought this mattress and was not sure if I would like it. Oh my stars, I love it. The first night was different you know but after one night, it's so luxurious. I sleep so good. Comfy and just right. The only thing I don't love is that I feel hotter at night. My fan is good.

The mattress that was delivered to my house has greatly improved my sleeping habits because it is a solid cushion for my head, shoulders and back. I had trouble with my former mattress that lead th me having back spasms when I walked or exercised, but my new stearns and foster mattress has definitely helped my body skeleton greatly. I would recommend this mattress to everyone. It's a very good product.

We have had this mattress for a little over 2 years and it is the most uncomfortable mattress we've ever owned. It has sagged so badly that there is a raised strip in the middle of the mattress in between us. I feel like I sleep in a hard crater every night. It's awful. Other mattresses we've had have been fine for 10 years.

Three months in now. I weigh 98 lbs. This mattress was easy to break in which is literally unheard of. My dog gives this mattress 5 stars too! Thank you so much Stearn and Foster and to the wonderful two that sold me the mattress when I called them. The young men that delivered the mattress were wonderful too! Happy happy customer here!

Took about a week to get use to my new mattress. It felt much too soft at first, but I slowly got used to it and then started to look forward to bedtime! Trouble is now I have a hard time getting out of bed in the morning. It cradles my body in all the right places and eases painful muscles. I am 86 and have a bad shoulder. My old mattress was 25 years old and I was afraid to buy a new one in case I didn't like it. I knew Sterns and Foster had a great reputation so I reluctantly made the purchase. Every morning I am so glad I did. I love my new mattress!

I purchased this mattress two months ago. It does not feel the same as the one I tried in the store. It feels hard. It is suppose to be a Euro pillow top, but does not hug me and give me comfort as my precious mattress which was a Euro pillow top, but not stern and foster. I regret this purchase. I'm going back into Mattress Firm to see about a trade. I can't take this anymore.

This mattress is too firm. I feel like I am sleeping on cardboard box. This is suppose to be a Euro Pillowtop. This feel nothing like my previous Matt which was a Euro pillowtop, but not this brand. I am sorry I made this purchase.

Not what I was hoping for. Good quality materials, but I get the feeling I'm falling when I roll over in bed. I would return, but the cost and hassle is not worth it. Satisfaction is in the medium range. The free sheet and pillow set is a bit of a joke.The sheets are laughably thin and scratchy. The pillows are less than impressive. Ended up buying another set of sheets and threw the ones sent by Sterns and Foster in the trash. I can't in good conscience recommend the mattress, and since the sheets and pillows were "free' I have little else to say about them.

We just bought this mattress. My husband has had 2 shoulder replacements, and had difficulty getting comfortable with our prior mattress. Now, he sleeps very well because our Stearns and Foster provides us...comfort and support. We both sleep a good 8hrs ...Thanks to Stearns and Foster.

Bought my 83 year old husband who has had two back surgeries what I thought was a good mattress from a reputable company. Unfortunately, that was not to be the case. After approximately 6 mos the side was breaking down. After an inspection we were told the coils were coming undone and the one side was an inch lower than the other side.Mind you my husband is Aproximatley 5'4 and 180#s. We've been told it does not fall into the category of defective. But they would give us 20% off another mattress! Really, we paid a lot for that one. Why would we give them more money.

After about 2 years, we have uneven wear and the top has piling. We removed our tag and the representative I attempted to discuss the warranty with flatly and rudely advised we are simply out of luck due to this. 2K + wasted. I will never buy another mattress from Stearns & Foster! They do not stand behind their product. Very disappointing.

My last bed was a Sterns & Foster so when I needed a new one, I chose the same brand. I have had my new one for a month now and just love the comfort it provides. I feel like I sleep better. My receipt it too light to know which product / model I went with, but it was a higher end one.

This is the worst mattress I have purchased the middle of the mattress had some type of springs that's where my hip goes. I have hip pain. I purchased it from Ashley's furniture. They will not do anything about it. They've came out and said there's nothing wrong. It's going from side to side and is sinking on one side. It is less than two years old. No one seems to want to help me. I will go back to my old mattress, Sealy's posture

Today we are replacing this mattress after a year and a half because the middle of mattress is collapsed. For the money we spent just a little over $3k I am very disappointed and would not recommend this product or company at all because they do not stand behind what they sell or say, no better than a used car lot.

We have had a Sterns and Foster mattress for about 15 years. When it was ti e to replace our mattress we tried a newer brand with good ratings. After 3 months, even with a topper, it was awful. Quality doesn't compare and pricing was the same. You just can't beat a Sterns and Foster. We couldn't be happier that we returned the other mattress and went back to what we really like!

We ordered a new bedframe to go with our new mattress and finally set everything up this weekend 7-19-25. This mattress is AMAZING!!! I thought we were going to be sad getting rid of our old mattress of 25 years because it was so comfortable, but we were wrong. This mattress forms to your body and feels like it hugs you. It's soft but not too soft which makes it even more comfortable. If it was up to me, I would stay in bed all the time. This last 2 nights that we have slept in our new bed has been the best. We actually feel rested, and our bodies don't hurt. We always felt sore or/and always tired on our old mattress. I just can't say enough about our decision. Yes, it's expensive but well worth the expense. We would recommend this mattress to anyone that is having a hard time sleeping at night.

Purchased a queen Studio which was delivered the end of March 2023. For comfort, it is fine; HOWEVER, do not believe the marketing hype about the craftsmanship. I recently noticed the stitching on the mattress top coming completely undone at two opposite corners. There is nothing touching these corners which are covered not only by the mattress pad, but also by a 2-inch topper. I am the only user-an 80 yo slender female who literally sleeps on only 20% of the mattress. I purchased it from MattressFirm; their online claim is a joke-one has to undo the entire bed and frame. It is, at this juncture in my life, an unsuitable product.

We have been sleeping on this bed for 3 weeks. There has been no "adjustment time" needed with this mattress. I have slept soundly and have not felt or heard my partner move at all. My partner likes mattresses softer than I do but this mattress has been perfect for both of us.

We have owned this mattress for 5 years, it has been replaced twice through warranty for such bad body indentations, and the worst sleep due to this. You need to go through your retailer for warranty claims, and living in a small town it's embarassing to complain yet again for a 3rd time. We will never buy stearns and foster again.
Customer service via email won't help. Advised us to return to our retailer for assistance.

King bed 1 year old and is awful! Hated from day one but hoped it would get better but only got worse! Please don't waste your money! Even tried to get money back in first 30 days and customer service sucks!!! Literally one year old and hump in middle from sides we sleep on! I'm 200 lbs and wife 125 so it's not us being fat! Have a 10 year old queen from Babcock furniture that sleeps100% better than this! Don't waste your money!!! Ours is executive king sucks!!! I'm sure the springs in the mattress were not properly covered or padded or whatever is done to prevent the springs from being felt.
I can feel the springs poking me.
