Difficult installation

My review is more related to the installation of our new gas range. We hired an HVAC professional to install the unit because our gas source is propane. While he was able to install the orifices and lines, he was unable to figure out how to assemble the lower part of the unit, which is a combined air fryer/convection oven. He charged us for 90 minutes of service but could not complete the installation. We have now called a local appliance dealer who will hopefully better understand what is needed to complete assembly. We did not anticipate that installation of this is range would be so complicated.

Oven preheats fast and cooks evenly even without convection. Burners provide all ranges of heat and controls are easy to use. The bottom oven is a bit larger than the top one which is good for larger bake items. So glad we got this oven!

Does not come with center open grate

I purchased this beautiful range and was disappointed when I learned it did not come with a center open grate. It ONLY comes with solid caste iron griddle that I can not lift due to it being so heavy. I had to purchase the additional open center grate on GE parts website. Costing $94.02. I wish I would have known it was not part of the original purchase. I don™€™t know how anyone can lift the center griddle. My last GE range did come with all the parts including optional center griddle. This was disappointing and now I have to wait weeks for delivery. I looked to see if I could find it cheaper but all reviews stated they were not the same texture or color so it was not a match. I spent enough in this range for GE to include this option. We really like this natural gas double oven. The cooktop is easy to clean compared to our last stove, and the front burners are both large, which makes cooking two things at once a lot easier. The ovens heat up quickly and hold their temp well. The keypad on the front is really easy to use and is intuitive. We're very happy with our purchase.

I absolutely love this stove! My cooking has improved and I love the steam cleaning for a dirty stove. The downside - it™€™s not easy to clean the top and it was clear the materials used were not nearly as well made as my old stove. Go ahead and buy the extra burner grate for the center burner. It should have been included. For the price point - this is a great stove.

So far I've noticed that the ovens heat up very quickly. Air Fryer option great and Convection Oven option do aid with cookies when using 2 sheets. Of, course I've only had this for 1 week. Couldn't give it 5 stars due to owners manual not addressing the gridle pan in center as to whether it needs to be seasoned. Also cooking on it has very distinctive hot spot which you have to watch or you will burn things.

Duel ovens are what an oven needs. You can use the bottom spacious oven as an air fryer that don™€™t need to heat up. Air frying is a healthier cooking option, also the bottom can be used as a convection oven. The top oven you can use for regular baking.
