GE® 30" SLIDE-IN FRONT CONTROL GAS RANGE, good product, versatile and easy to use. Stainless top does get scratched easily. The burner heat Manangement could be better. The bigger burners are good, but the smaller ones are the issue..the gas knobs could be better and that™™s reason to dock on star. Gets scratched easily and the material feels cheap. Simple yet effective design and controls are intuitive. The oven is effective and efficient, racks are well placed for a range of cooking needs.Overall Is a good value for money.

Looks amazing. The center burner/griddle is awesome. The oven preheats quickly. And the steam clean feature is the best feature ever. It fit like a glove, did I mention it looks amazing?

Nice looking and smooth operating range/oven. Love the baked on finish, large cook area, center griddle.
Do not understand why the burners light counter-clockwise! Just feels odd to turn the burner on to the left and then have to continue turning counterclockwise to LOWER the flame. It should be the other way around, as the vast majority of cooking will not be a full power.
Also, the back spacer vent was not able to be used as it is impossible to fit above the counter or even flush with the counter in the slide-in. Awkward and difficult to find a way to use this piece, with little to no instructions or options for attachment.
Would really have liked a downdraft model as well, but this was on sale and price was good. As a slide in over an open island, there is no place to put an overhead vent/fan, and our last oven was a downdraft, so we already had the floor hole and venting available.

We bought this range in January 2022 and we love it. Some of the features that impressed me the most were the sleek look, the self-clean steam clean feature, and the cook time, which turns off the oven automatically when the time is up. It still has the timer, and both features work simultaneously (simply incredible). The grill is definitely a welcomed feature. It's not hard to keep clean either. A very good product by GE.

I really love my new oven. The fingerprints are gone for good with the matt finish. It heats fast and evenly. It feels solid and no cheap parts are evident. Highly recommended.

I like my new stove. It is simple to operate and easy to keep clean. I will see how the oven looks after a couple of years with the steam clean feature. I had an oven before this one that had the traditional self cleaning oven and it wasn™™t so great either. It looks nice.

This is a great stove/oven. It lights easy and heats up quickly. Oven preheats in about 5 mins. I also like that the light comes on when you open the oven door.

Wonderful gas range. I only have one complaint. The smaller sized burners, which I need to use most often, are both in the back. I have short arms, so it isn™™t easy for me to reach back there to cook. I™™m using long-handled spoons. It would have made more sense, I think, to put the big burners in the back. Otherwise, I™™m very happy with it.

I bought this range because I wanted the custom stove look, it fit beautifully in my kitchen and works great! The grilling too feature is perfect for steaks and cooks evenly when meats are closer to the burner. It is easy to clean.

We really like the look of the range. The knobs and plates and griddle are super easy to throw in the dishwasher so it™™s easy to keep all the parts clean. One thing we aren™™t loving is that there™™s a gap on the left side of the oven and we can™™t get hold of the service department to schedule a repair.

My previous range had the controls on the front of the unit. I kept turning them on by accident. This one has the controls in the front BUT the are flat so they don™™t get turned on until I want them

I've been cooking on electric for 30 years. I grew up cooking on gas and I really missed it. This stove is super easy to maintain and cooks great. I could not follow recipe temps with my old electric. I always had to up the temp and time. Not with this appliance. It is spot on.

I like that GE utilized the entire top of the stove in order to get the two big burners in and allow for the center griddle. The slate black finish is very nice. So far cleaning it has been pretty easy. It nice that GE included two large burners with the quick-boil feature, unfortunately, both burners are in the front! I think they should have placed the left larger burner in the back. When we boil a large pot of water, it's odd to have that in the way of the small burner when heating up sauces in the back. It doesn't make sense. The griddle is nice. I've made plenty of pancakes and french toast on it. One thing I don't like is the back portion gets hotter than the front. Not sure why that is since the burner under the griddle covers the length of it. The oven heats up nice, albeit slower than my old stove that got replaced by this one. The knobs are at a nice angle and the oven controls are easy to get at without reaching over hot pots and pans to get to the oven controls in the back like on my old stove. The knobs, on the other hand, are ordered strange to me. I'm used to the front burners being controlled by the outermost knobs. The knobs on the right side are (griddle, front, back). Crazy! Also, instead of little diagrams, which baffle the elderly folk that lives with me, why not just label "Front", "Back", "Griddle". Is that too much to ask?

We couldn't seem to find a black propane gas stove anywhere until we found this GE slide in stove/oven. It came factory built as a natural gas appliance but also comes with the propane conversion kit at no extra cost. Easy to convert with no special tools. We are impressed with the quality as well as the looks. I would suggest this model to anyone looking for a high end appliance at a super bargain price.
